Based on sandstone cliffs at Cummingston on the Moray coast
This piece was entered into the Art Society Competition held at Bishopsland Educational Trust.
I looked at how the textures created during the airchasing process are reminiscent of the texture and formations found on sandstone cliffs - for me personally it was looking at Cummingston which is a sandstone cliff frequented by rock climbers and incidentally where I learned to lead climb.
It won runner up! This means I am able to make it in silver!
Aiming to either make the sides higher so the texture is more obvious, or invert the texture so it is on the inside.
