Created from two tiles: one tile using a technique called ‘migration’ by which the powdered glass fuses round the large chunks of ‘frit’ glass. The second tile using a mixture of transparent and opaque sheet glass layered and left to adjust in its initial firing. These two organic tiles have then been fused together and slumped into shape with the help of a mould.
